Terms for Prepward learners

1. Provider and acceptance

These Terms are an agreement between you and Baroze Labs Ltd when you access or use Prepward, create a learner account, or purchase access. If you do not agree with these Terms, do not use the service.

These Terms apply to the public website, the web learner experience, and the supported mobile application, together with any offer-specific terms shown at checkout or in an app store. If an offer-specific term conflicts with these Terms, it applies only to that offer.

2. What Prepward provides

Prepward helps learners organise and practise English NCLEX preparation. Depending on the current release and your access level, the service may include:

• a learner profile using your intended exam date, daily study time, and time zone;
• an optional diagnostic assessment and a personalised daily study plan;
• practice questions in single-choice, multiple-response, numeric, matrix, and bow-tie formats;
• published rationales, answer history, bookmarks, question-bank filters, progress, mastery, readiness, and trend views;
• personal notes, flashcards, review scheduling, optional referrals, and feedback tools; and
• optional mobile reminders, offline study packages, and queued answer synchronisation where supported.

Features, question availability, limits, algorithms, layouts, and supported devices may change as the product is reviewed and developed. The service is designed to support study; it does not replace official examination materials, a nursing educator, a regulator, a licensed clinician, or your own professional judgement.

3. Educational and professional limits

Questions, rationales, diagnostic results, plans, mastery indicators, and readiness views are educational content prepared for practice. They may be incomplete, simplified, corrected, retired, or different from the content and difficulty of a real examination.

Do not rely on Prepward for:

• diagnosis, treatment, triage, medication decisions, patient care, or clinical documentation;
• licensing, registration, scope-of-practice, immigration, visa, employment, or regulatory advice;
• official examination registration, eligibility, scheduling, accommodations, or score interpretation; or
• a prediction or guarantee that you will pass an examination or obtain employment or licensure.

Always verify important information against the applicable regulator, examination provider, employer, school, and current professional guidance.

4. Accounts and sign-in

You may sign in with an email one-time code and, where enabled, Google sign-in. You must provide an email address that you control, keep it current, and use one learner account for your own study. Do not share one-time codes, session access, or paid access with another person.

You are responsible for activity performed through your account and for signing out of shared devices. Tell us promptly if you believe an account or sign-in code has been misused. We may rate-limit sign-in requests and refuse or suspend access to protect the service, learners, and payment systems.

5. Free access, offers and paid access

The service may provide a limited free practice allowance. Free limits are intended to protect availability and may be changed, paused, or applied differently to different features.

When an offer is available, the offer card or checkout identifies the applicable product, currency, price, access period, availability, and any promotion. The current product configuration supports time-limited founder and standard access offers; the exact price and period shown before purchase control your transaction. Founder and standard access are time-limited learner access, not a licence to copy or redistribute question content.

Your access is linked to the learner account used during verification and ends at the displayed end date unless the offer expressly says otherwise. The same account may carry verified access and study progress between supported web and mobile experiences.

Web checkout is available only when enabled by the owner and is processed through Stripe Checkout. The server grants or changes access only after it verifies the relevant payment event. Mobile purchases are initiated through the applicable Apple App Store or Google Play purchase flow and are activated only after the store receipt or webhook is verified. The payment provider or store may have additional terms that apply to the payment itself.

Promo codes, founder allocations, and other offers may have separate limits or expiry dates. Do not assume that an offer will remain available after you leave the checkout page.

6. Refunds, cancellations and access changes

Refund and cancellation requests should be made through the payment channel used for the purchase, or by contacting support with the account email and transaction reference. Mandatory consumer rights are not affected by these Terms.

When a refund, chargeback, cancellation, billing issue, or other revocation is verified by the relevant payment or store system, the corresponding access grant may be revoked. Deleting an account does not automatically cancel a payment-provider transaction or create a refund; contact the payment provider and Prepward support as soon as possible.

Because access is account-linked, a purchase made or restored under the wrong learner account may not be transferable. Contact support before attempting to create a second account or repeating a purchase.

7. Acceptable use

You may use Prepward only for lawful personal study and in a way that does not harm other learners or the service. You must not:

• share, sell, transfer, resell, or commercially exploit an account or paid access;
• copy, scrape, bulk-download, publish, train a competing question bank on, or redistribute questions, answer keys, rationales, reviewer notes, or unpublished content;
• submit patient names, records, photographs, clinical notes, protected health information, or other confidential information;
• submit real examination questions, screenshots, or material that you do not own or have permission to use;
• circumvent free limits, payment verification, access controls, rate limits, or security features;
• probe, reverse engineer, attack, overload, impersonate, or automate the service in a way that is not authorised; or
• use the service for cheating, unlawful activity, harassment, malware, or interference with another learner.

8. Content, notes and feedback

You retain rights in lawful notes, flashcards, and feedback that you create. You give Baroze Labs Ltd a limited, non-exclusive permission to store, process, display, and use those submissions only as reasonably needed to provide the requested study feature, secure the service, investigate a report, maintain content quality, and improve Prepward.

You are responsible for what you submit and for having the rights needed to submit it. Do not submit confidential, patient, copyrighted, or examination-restricted material. We may remove or decline content that is unlawful, unsafe, misleading, infringing, or inconsistent with reviewer and provenance requirements.

Prepward, its name, design, software, question bank, rationales, and other service materials are owned by or licensed to Baroze Labs Ltd. Subject to these Terms and your access status, you receive a personal, limited, non-exclusive, non-transferable, revocable right to use the service for study. No ownership is transferred to you.

9. Availability, beta features and suspension

Prepward may be in beta or may include experimental recommendations. Features and recommendations may change, and planned or emergency maintenance may temporarily interrupt access. We do not promise uninterrupted availability, a particular question count, a particular algorithm, or compatibility with every browser or device.

Offline packages and queued answers are convenience features. They may expire, require an online start or later synchronisation, or be unavailable when the account, access grant, device, or network cannot be verified. Do not treat an offline copy as a permanent archive.

We may restrict, suspend, or terminate access where reasonably necessary for security, fraud prevention, non-payment, a refund or chargeback, unlawful or abusive use, violation of these Terms, or protection of another person. Where appropriate, we will try to explain the reason and provide a route to contact support.

You can request account deletion from Settings. Access is disabled when the request is accepted and personal account data is queued for deletion within 30 days. The Privacy Policy explains the deletion process and limited reasons data may need to be retained longer.

10. Disclaimers, liability and law

To the extent permitted by law, the service is provided on an “as available” basis. We do not warrant that every question, rationale, plan, recommendation, or synchronisation result will be complete, current, error-free, or suitable for your particular circumstances.

Nothing in these Terms excludes or limits liability that cannot lawfully be excluded or limited, including applicable consumer rights. Subject to that protection, Baroze Labs Ltd is not responsible for indirect or consequential loss, loss of opportunity, loss of examination results, or decisions made from educational content. You remain responsible for checking official and professional sources.

You agree to use the service lawfully and to reimburse reasonable losses or costs arising from your deliberate misuse of the service, infringement of another person’s rights, or material breach of these Terms, to the extent permitted by law.

These Terms are governed by the laws of England and Wales, subject to any mandatory consumer protections that apply where you live. Nothing here prevents you from using rights that cannot be waived under applicable law.

11. Changes and contact

We may update these Terms when the service, payment flows, law, or security requirements change. The updated date at the top of this page shows when the current version was published. Continued use after an update means that you accept the updated Terms; if a change materially affects you, we will take reasonable steps to draw attention to it.
